Recipe: Chana Masala

Serves people or hungry ones.

Ingredients

  • onions

  • cloves garlic

  • cm of ginger

  • Chili as you like. Fresh, dryed, spicy, mild, everything goes.

  • tbsp oil (e.g. linseed)

  • Spices:

    • garam masala
    • cumin
    • coriander
    • curcuma
    • chili powder
    • sugar
    • pepper
    • salt
  • lime juice

  • ml vegetable stock

  • cans of chunky tomatoes (~ ml)

  • cans of chickpeas (~ g)

  • block of tofu ( g)

Instructions

  • Blend onions, cloves of garlic, cm of ginger and chili as you like.
  • Heat a pan with with the oil, transfer the blended mass to the pan and sweat it a little
  • Add the spices ( tbsp garam masala, tbsp cumin, tbsp sugar and of coriander, curcuma, chili powder each)
  • add chickpeas, tomatoes and tofu
  • cook it unit it's good
  • season to taste with salt, pepper, lime juice
